My Career In Audio
I am currently completing my studies in music technology at Capital University. This has allowed me to learn as much about my field as possible, and has allowed me to hone my craft as an audio engineer. I have experience in recording, mixing, and live sound.

Super skilled at Pro Tools, Logic and Ableton!

I have certifications in Pro Tools and Dante.
For a group project this semester, a partner and I tracked CaneToads, a killer band based in Columbus. Very jam-influenced, but they touch on every genre in their catalog. We recorded their take on "Shakedown Street" by The Grateful Dead. You can see our set up, my initial mix, and then a revised mix I did as well.

We also had an ensemble tracking project this semester, which we completed with the wind ensembles at Capital University. A very different concept from tracking and mixing a band, but fun nonetheless. Take a look at the pictures and listen to the mixes, I think it turned out pretty good!

Our last big project of the semester was mastering 4 songs. I've never mastered anything in these genres before, so the process was super interesting. I mastered the CaneToads' cover of "Shakedown Street", "Basement" by Stillcastle, a "MimicTheMix" project we did in class that required a lot of critical listening and mixing, and "Christopher" by Edward Dean.
I have also been fortunate enough to work in sports audio. I started to do this last year and have continued to do it since. It combines my love of audio with the diehard sports fan inside me.
