Senior Project Milestone Update 1

This project has been very intensive thus far. Writing has been a lot on top of all of my other musical projects, but it has been very fun. I started by playing through the game with no music (AN ABSOLUTE STRUGGLE) and started to imagine how my composition would fit within this extremely complex world of characters and story-telling. The hardest part so far has been writing music to fit characters that doesn't give away motives or anything like that, while also being original in my writing and staying in my own creative lane. For the most part, I started by tackling a lot of the filler music in the game, which was pretty easy. Writing for things like the menu loading up has been fun and different, as the music should be simple to not detract from the game, as you can hear right
The first character I wrote for was Flowey. He's just a flower and is totally your right-hand man and best friend throughout the game. You don't see him the whole time because he's actually behind the scenes rooting for you, it's so wholesome. I mean, just look at him!
You can hear his theme in that folder as well. I like it a lot.
Overall, I have met my goal for milestone 1. I am excited to dive into boss fights and really expand the genres in this project. I'll update you then!
